MORNING SADHANA (in the Gurdwara) |

Japji (Morning Prayer) begins at 4:30 a.m. and
takes about 20 minutes.
Then, a yoga set, followed by 1 hour of chanting meditations
(7 in all).
The Siri Guru Granth Sahib (the Divine writings of the Sikhs)
is then brought in, and singing and readings in the Sikh tradition.
(When the Siri Guru Granth Sahib is installed, a head covering
must be worn in the Gurdwara.)
The Nitnem Banis are then recited. |

Meals are served in the dining room. |

GATKA
(The Art of the Sword)
This Indian martial art using sticks will be taught in the open
area in front of Haida Lodge. Bring forth your spirit! |

Kundalini Yoga for body, mind and soul! Breath, exercise, relaxation,
and meditation. |

REHIRAS & CHANTING
Rehiras is the evening prayer of the Sikhs. We will have English
translations and transliterations of the prayers
recited during camp available to follow along. Time for sacred
music.
(Please remember to wear a head covering, because the Siri Guru
Granth Sahib will be presiding.) |
